Between November 2021 and October 2022, we have digitally facilitated the supply of 18,000 workers in 7 Ethiopian Industrial parks under a service-level contract with the #BRIDGES program implemented by #firstconsult in partnership with the #Mastercardfoundation. As compared to the previous year the supplied number of workers declined by 35 percent due to a significant decline in labor demand and related challenges. The Ethiopian northern conflict also contributed to the decline in the overall supply and demand figures, forcing the halt of operations in Kombolcha and eventually Bahirdar Industrial parks.
